About the Artist
I fell in love with mosaics after finding a discarded
book of crafts and seeing a mosaicked chair. After
attending the Mosaic School in Ravenna, Italy, my
commitment was solidified. Previously I'd worked in
acrylic and oil paints, collages and etchings.
Mosaicking was a natural progression, since I was
already incorporating jewels, textures, wooden pieces,
and metal into works on handmade paper.
